Event Details:
Session will be talking about women's education, workplace experiences, and work-life balance. In the last two weeks of the semester, we'll be talking about mental health and violence against girls and women. A central theme in the course is intersectionality—the idea that in order to have a more full appreciation of women's experiences, we have to consider how multiple identities may intersect (e.g., racial identity, ethnic identity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious identity, etc.).
